Best known for their home office furniture and media cabinets, BDI specializes in sleek, highly functional pieces that are designed to stylishly integrate technology into the home. They even call their furniture “high performance furniture” and with features like IR friendly glass, hidden speaker compartments and concealed wheels that make even their heaviest media stands a breeze to move; they aren’t lying.
Although they have dabbled in accessories and accent pieces their strength has always been in their formidable collection of desks, office storage and media cabinets, until now.
In 2014 BDI introduced their first bar design, and it’s a real show-stopper. The design is based on one of their most popular media cabinets, the corridor, and features the same louvered doors in chocolate stained walnut (our personal favorite) or white oak, with a micro-etched black glass top. It’s a sophisticated, contemporary design that quietly steals the show.
As usual with BDI, this product offers much more than a pretty face. The inside is outfitted with enough clever storage that you can easily stock double what you could have in other bars this size, and it’s taller size is the perfect height for mixing up delicious concoctions.
