July 4th is just around the corner and with it arrives the cacophony of fireworks, the aroma of backyard barbecues, and the vibrant display of red, white, and blue everywhere you look.
When Independence Day comes around our country’s color palette is scarcely out of sight, from “Old Glory” flying on the flagpole, to the display of burgers and buns at your local grocery store. These three colors are notorious for their ability to conjure up thoughts of freedom, liberty, and democracy, but they also just look really, really good. The traditional red, white, and blue color palette is a fantastic interior design color option, especially when combined with untraditional furniture.
In interior design, most people associate the red, white, and blue color palette with rustic Americana. While there’s nothing wrong with that style, we feel it’s our duty as interior designers and furniture enthusiasts, to show you how these colors can be terrific with modern design as well. Check out the following for how to add a hint of patriotism to your living space.
